2001 PDGA World Championships

Cameron Todd, 2001 World ChampionCam shot a tournament-best 46 in the semifinals to jump from a 1 shot deficit to 4 shot lead and then cruised to a 6 shot victory, winning $3065 and his first world championship. Worm, who was in the lead after the first day, finished in a tie for 8th with 10-time world champion Ken Climo, and won $897.

Lesli had a 5 shot lead over Juliana after 4 rounds but Juliana came crashing back to win her, what, 4th straight world championship? Lesli finished second, beating third place (and, what, 5-time world champion?) Elaine King by 7 shots (!).

We will have a report from Cam posted in the next few days.
