Cam on Worlds
Hey everyone, what's new? Just wanted to let ya know a
few things that have brought joy to our tour. It's hard to come up with
the specifics, but it seems like the laughter never ends. For instance,
I met this guy named Iqbal Jehan. You can call him whatever-ball you
like.
We
like to call him TrickBall, as a matter of fact if you create a new
name for him, he'll give you a cigarette. What a guy. I happened to
be around to experience Iqbal's first tour haircut.Joel Kelly is a hair
stylist and agreed to cut Iq's hair. Joel told Iq to get something to
catch the hair
,
so Iq comes prancing out with a trash can liner wrapped around as a
shirt. Joel sees IQ and says get that thing off you fool. Before the
laughter had completely dissipated, here comesDave Feldberg wearing
a full mesh mosquito body suit smoking a cigarette. The mosquitoes were
horrible and Dave ended up having the last laugh. That was somewhere
in Wisconsin, Madison to be exact. Never mind Iq's picture being during
the day and Dave's at night, we laughed for a long time.
Another worlds come but I can't quite say it's gone. It seems like the
feeling will last forever so a little about the worlds, This was my
third worlds. I felt positive all the way, but it still feels like a
dream for the third to have been the charm. It was such an awesome battle.
Steve Rico came to play. I must say it was a total pleasure to watch
his duration of ups, downs, and how he kept charging ahead. Eric Tracy
seems to have found a game that is consistent. Pretty unbelievable;
what is he 14 I mean 19 or 20? Nice job Eric.
Going into the semi finals I was tied with Eric and 1
back from Steve; Climo 2 behind Eric and me. Some how I managed to score
an 8 down at North Valley . I remember 1 bad shot during the round.
On hole 11 I threw a good drive, my upshot on the other hand was baaad.
I released it early into little or no opportunity. Feeling excited about
this shot (who knows why), I put my left leg in and stretched as far
as possible. My left arm was behind my right foot and luckily enough
from that position I short armed an approach about 310 ft. to get within
55 feet Again I'm feeling good as I approach my 55 ft. put uphill with
headwind. I just tossed it in the air it went in; it was just one of
those rounds. The finals came along and my game hung out a little longer
to get me through. Thanks to my creator for a dream come true.
Anyway, after the world championships we headed up to Giants Ridge,
MN, A sweet ball golf disc golf resort in Biwabik, Minn. It was so relaxing
there I decided not to play the c tier, I just fished, slept, and watched
the lead groupplay the last few holes. After such a huge accomplishment
the head and the body needed rejuvenation. A week later we headed to
Milwaukee for the Rumbletown Classic. I fought and fought, but in the
end Worm snatched victory from me by a stroke. Hey, it's all good. I
actually got to put on my first clinic for the public Thursday before
the tournament at Dretzka Park. There was a pretty decent turnout and
good response. I hope to do many more in the future. Back to the tournament,
I was on the 2nd card and Worm was on the 3rd card going into the last
round. I shot a -10 which was a course record. The hoopla was that I
had won by a stroke, but dun da dah, here comes the Worm with a smoking
-12 that was enough to get me by a stroke.
The tour is fantastic and hopefully it continues forever.
So now we're headed to Chicago for more funny ha-ha's. After that it's
off to Ludington, MI for the MDGOfinals. Hopefully with our new computer,
our updates will be much faster. The rest is waiting for us to get there.
See ya down the road my friend.

See, I told ya we have fun on tour
