Worm on Seneca So as the Disc Golf world turns we rolled up on our 8th supertour of the year, the Seneca Creek Soiree. After listening to everyone's horror stories about the course and how you must have a roller in your bag, team Flying Eye didn't know what to expect. In order to prepare for the weekend we decided to stop by another course with lots of stories behind it called Paw Paw in West Virginia. Looking at Paw Paw from its parking lot you're thinking about some course you dreamed about until you get to about hole 5 and all of a sudden you're on Elm Street with Freddy Krueger as your evil course designer. All I remember is this one hole that went straight for about 400 feet through a ten foot fairway and then makes a 90 degree turn to the left and there the basket sits about another 280 feet with no fairway, just trees. Besides the few holes through the woods we all really enjoyed the course. We showed up at Seneca on Thursday, got a round in, and scored a great place to stay with Brian and Rachel. Friday we got some more practice in and the locals were very helpful with all the pin positions and different tee pads. The tournament was well run, the course was awesome compared to what we had heard, plus we got fed between rounds both days. Craig Gangloff ended up winning with great help from his third round score and cruised to the first supertour win of his career. Mike Moser came in second followed by Brian Schweberger, Al Schack, and Cam was fifth. Lesli finished 1st over Elaine, beating her for the first time. In general I thought the course was beautiful with only a couple of holes having no fairway thing going on. A roller can help you on a couple of holes, but the course provides many airshot opportunities and some great 2 shot holes, but I did not like a couple of the poke and hope holes.
