Doug Can't Think of Another Title
(Mileage 11,000)

Well it's been nine weeks and 11,000 miles now and we're finally at a more relaxing pace.  [Editor's note:  Apparently we at Flying Eye central are as well, seeing as it's taken us 3 weeks to get this posted.] Raleigh to Gainesville to Birmingham to Bowling Green, all very close together.  Finally.

Anyway, touring is incredible; maybe I thought I had a lot figured out, probably did, but there's more.  Touring can be taxing and takes a lot of heart and endurance, it can create slumps, kill your desire, and just plain burn you out.  I admit no sport has ever put me through these emotions and it's awesome.

I just wanted to take a moment and give out major props for the touring pros, Al Schack, Sue Stephens, Todd Branch, Dave Feldberg, Avery Jenkins, Juliana Korver, Ron Russell, Mike Young (that's Worm to y'all), Lesli Herndon, BRAVO!  You guys are making it happen.

Lots of people tour, but week to week with no home is very tough and I appreciate all your efforts. And to all the other golfers who help keep it going for us, thank you!  TD's, etc, beautiful jobs.

Larry Leonard found a 3 ft moccasin on his disc in the middle of the tournament, Bucky Worboys said, "Be very careful, those guys smoke and have tattoos."  It was pretty scary looking.  When Larry shewed it away it was a good thing it didn't chase us, moccasins have a reputation for that.
