Lesli on Dinner and Driving Sunday night after the tourney, Mark Ellis invited all the touring players out for dinner. We went to Saltgrass Steakhouse just down from Mark's hotel. Dinner was great, even though it seemed to take a while for us to finally eat. We'd like to thank Mark Ellis for his kindness and support of all the people on tour (Note: this isn't the first dinner he has bought for us). After dinner we went back to the hotel. Dave, Avery, Worm, Cam, Mark, and myself all played mini golf in the parking lot for a couple of hours. I think we spent as much time looking as we did throwing. Nonetheless it was a great evening. I did want to mention this one thing about Texas. For example, Mark's hotel was approximately one block from the restaurant, but instead of simply making a left turn to the restaurant you must turn right, go 1 mile to the next exit, and 2 miles back to the exit we were just at. They call them roundabouts and they suck! Why should you drive 3 miles when you only need to go 2 blocks? They have them everywhere in Texas and I personally think they are ridiculous. Everything is bigger in Texas, even their turn-arounds.
