While visiting Phoenix we ate at several different places.  The most interesting was the, "Chino Bandido Takee Outee." [Ed:  Anyone read Moon Is a Harsh Mistress?  Hmm?] It was a mixture of Mexican, Chinese, and Caribbean food.  It was all combined to develop a unique taste.  As you entered the restaurant you were directed to the sample bar, each person was given 4 or 5 samples (black beans (yum, yum), red rugby chicken (very tender), jerk chicken (hot, hot, hot).  Cam ordered a chile relleno, "bizarre."  It was an 8" pepper fried in a batter and stuffed with cheese.  At the end of your meal they brought out fresh snickerdoodle cookies for everyone.  This was a great place with excellent prices!
